Hi everyone! Now I get to share the final images of “A Remarkable Journey” – the first commission I have taken on in many many years. It was an honor to be able to paint my client’s son as she wanted, surrounded by his animal guardians.
The painting is full of personal symbolism for the family. Their son is soon heading off into the world and they wanted him to know how protected and also guided he was by them.
It is a big painting so full of details. It was a fun project to work on, many elements like swords, crowns, owls and even a male model – are all things I typically don’t paint and am glad I got the chance to.
This painting is heading off now to it’s home in Stockholm. Thanks again to my client who gave me the job to create it!
